Celebrating St. Peter!

The services for June are:

7^th June at 11.15am- Holy Communion

21^st June at 11.15am- Morning Prayer

28^th June at 11.15am- Patronal Service

To celebrate St. Peter’s Day, we are having a Coffee Morning, hosted at St. Martin’s Church, Ross Road on the 27^th June.

10am-12noon. Tasty refreshments and a prize raffle.

On the 28^th June we are holding a Patronal Service, starting at the old church at 11.15am. This will be followed by a bring-and-share picnic lunch, held on the church grounds.

All are welcome to any or all of these events!!

Churchyard Maintenance 

The increased cost of mowing and the parlous state of the finances at St Peter’s have combined to enforce “No-Mow May” in the churchyard. In order to maintain the churchyard - especially the areas with more recent graves and the area in front of the church - we would be very grateful for any help that anyone is able to give. Could you ‘adopt’ a section of the churchyard or a group of graves? Do you have time to mow the front lawn once or twice a year in between the scheduled cuts? Please let us know in the parish office if you are able to help in any way.

We would also like to remind you that dogs should be kept on a lead around the church and grounds, and owners should also clean up after them if nature calls.
